Portraits that feel professional without losing personality, for individuals, business owners, performers and creatives.
Portraiture with personality.
How a session works
A professional portrait is often the first impression someone has of you, on LinkedIn, your website, a speaker bio or a press release. It should look like you on a good day, not like a template.
Every session starts with a conversation about where the portrait will be used and what it needs to say. From there we choose the setting: a hired studio for a clean, considered look, your own workplace so the photo reflects where you work, or a location around Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
Bring a couple of outfit options and I'll help you decide what works best on camera. Hair and make-up can be arranged if you'd like it. Sessions run as long as the shoot needs, and we agree on that before the day.
Afterwards you'll see a set of proofs, choose your favourites, and I'll finish those as your final edited portraits.
Questions
Do you photograph teams as well as individuals?
I focus on individual portraits. If several people in your business need portraits, get in touch and we can talk through what will work.
Can you come to our office?
Yes. I work in a hired studio, on location or at your workplace.
I don't like being photographed. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Most people feel that way. We take our time, and the session is built around helping you relax.
