Portraits for models and performers, from considered studio compositions to images with more natural expression.
Model portraiture.
How a session works
A strong portfolio shows range: different looks, different light, and the person behind the pose. Sessions are built around what your portfolio needs, whether you're starting out or updating your book.
We plan the shoot together first, covering the looks, styling and the kind of images you need. Then we shoot in a hired studio for controlled lighting, on location for natural and editorial images, or both.
Bring your outfit changes and I'll help with styling choices. Hair and make-up can be arranged on request. After the shoot you'll review the proofs, choose your selects, and receive the finished, edited images for your portfolio.
Questions
I'm new to modelling. Is that okay?
Yes. We'll plan the shoot around what a first portfolio needs and take our time on the day.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. Get in touch and we'll talk about what will help you feel at ease.
Can we shoot studio and location in one session?
Often, yes. We'll work that out when we plan the shoot.
How many looks can we do?
It depends on the shoot. We'll agree on it beforehand.
